Being an exotic dancer affects
different people in different ways.
When you transition out of the exotic dancing
industry, you suddenly come face to face with a very different world than the one
you were immersed in. Too often when we experience something outside of mainstream
society, it is easy to forget that other people do not have this same knowledge,
for they have not walked the same road that each of us have.
The truth is that
the majority of mainstream society doesn't have a clue about what life as an exotic
dancer is like.
And the truth is that your experience is completely different from
my experience.
It is for this very reason that we have chosen to post this questionnaire on our website.
In order to gain a more complete perspective on the industry's effects on the life
of an individual and to get in touch with the ever changing club environment,
Citizen's For Community Values Ohio has put together a questionnaire
for the ex-dancer. Your participation will enable others across the country to
better understand a world that is totally foreign to most, while at the same time,
enabling those of us who minister to the adult entertainment industry to better
meet your needs.
