LIGHTDANCERS has always been an outreach effort of an unconventional nature. It was never a "safe" work that appealed to the average individual fearful at the the mere thought of stepping out of the boat. We have not only rocked the boat, but emptied the boat and swam to the other side as well! Exploring uncharted territory in new ways is a privledge that we take great joy in. However, it is also something that seems to ruffle a lot of feathers and has occassionally resulted in our fair share of critics and naysayers. Human nature I guess. But sometimes you just have to take the leap and build your wings on the way down! Because of this outlook, our efforts will continue to reflect that which will best reach our target audience, regardless of whom they may be in the future. After all, God is no respector of persons and neither are we.

Originally LIGHTDANCERS was established as a non-denominational, Biblically based outreach ministry geared for the exotic dancer. During our first 7 years of ministry, we traversed uncharted territory in the creation and establishment of numerous printed resources written with the intent of encouraging the exotic dancer and reaching into the industry with the love of Christ. Most recently we have broadened our reach to encompass the next generation as a whole. Just as we saw that there existed a severe lack in meeting a tremendous need with respect to the exotic dancing industry, so it is that we see an even greater need not being met when it comes to the next generation on a variety of levels.

Meanwhile, we invite you to come and explore! The website now encompasses not only our original efforts to the dancer, but also our journey with the youth, our encounters with the prison system, our love for our Native American brothers and sisters, and a few additional roads from our own personal journeys through life. In other words, this website is packed with a large variety of resources and information for your viewing and spritual pleasure! Because it was created so that those who need spiritual encouragement and guidance can obtain it 24/7 when they need it most, it has always been the heart of the ministry, and so it shall remain.
