Club Owners & Managers

You don’t have to work in the exotic dancing industry for any duration of time to quickly see the transient nature of the business. As a club owner or manager, you know that every day is certain to bring numerous women through your establishment in search of employment. Replacing a dancer is no hard task and though the reasons may be varied, it is a sure thing that for every dancer who leaves, there is another waiting in the wings. It is a business for which you can never have enough entertainers, and it is because of this that LIGHTDANCERS exists.

It is important to us that you, as a club owner or manager, would understand that our purpose for being has nothing to do with regulating your establishment. Our concern is not with the laws of the land. Our concern is with the hearts of the people, in particular, your entertainers. We have no desire to lobby laws or try to shut down your business. It is not what God has called us to do. We do however have a camaraderie with, and a respect for those who are called to such a purpose, just as we have an understanding and respect for you as a business man or woman.

As you know, this industry is not without its pitfalls. Even the best and strongest women will at some point find themselves struggling with the downside of being an exotic dancer. Drug use runs rampant, relationships suffer, and looks don’t last forever. Every girl who walks through the door believes in her heart, “It will never happen to me.”…but for many, it does. Some of these women have come from or may be living in unsuitable situations that you may never know about. As much as they want to believe this industry won’t change them, it will. Situations arise, opportunities present themselves and most will leave very different from who they were when they first walked through your door.

We are not by any means the end of the road for exotic dancers…. actually, we can be just the beginning! And we are the first to admit that we don’t have all the answers…but we know the One who does! It is not our desire to steal the dancer away. That is not our mind set. Our desire is to feed her spirit with the love of Jesus Christ. She needs encouragement, love and guidance with no strings attached, and she will find just that through outreach ministries and organizations such as LIGHTDANCERS. Every dancer is going to leave the industry at some point and move onto other things in her life. Making the transition can be difficult. Being grounded in her faith and understanding her worth as a child of God will remain as a foundation throughout her entire life. Enabling her to fully grasp these truths and apply them in her life is our purpose.

Of course ministering to those in the exotic dancing industry always proves exciting and challenging. Since very few have ventured this way before, we have had to pioneer in a creative fashion. To best meet the spiritual needs of the exotic dancer, we have developed a variety of resources, all of which are downloadable FREE from our website. Here you will find an array of publications created with the exotic dancer in mind, such as:

Dancing In His Light
(devotional for the exotic dancer),
The Color Of Light
(quarterly newsletter of spiritual encouragement)
Dancing To A Different Tune
(Lisanne’s personal story)
Tip Tracts
(means of sharing ones faith with others)

For those within your club who are clearly struggling with the industry, we rely on you to help them by freely distributing our GEM Cards', trading style type cards with a purpose. They were created as a point of reference for ministries across the U.S. that can offer encouragement and prayer to those in the business, and assistance to those who are seeking life beyond the exotic dancing industry. If you are interested in receiving GEM Cards for distribution to the entertainers within your club, simply email us with your request.

It is important to acknowledge your entertainers worth. One of the ways you can do that is by supporting outreach ministries for those in the adult entertainment industry. Our sole means of support comes from those few who believe in what we are doing and are moved to contribute. As a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization, tax receipts are available for those who donate to LIGHTDANCERS. 100% of the funds we receive go towards maintaining this website, producing printed resources, and distributing special gifts to the dancers we encounter, as well providing for our attendance at the annual Gentlemen Club Expo and Fan Fair. We hope that those who derive their income from the exotic dancing industry will give us the opportunity to once again be an encouragement to the women who make this business the multi million dollar industry that it has become by sponsoring LIGHTDANCERS attendance and participation at this year's annual Expo event.

Please remember that whether Christian or not, we are all human and as such, we inevitably fall short from time to time. Because of this truth, we would like to take it upon ourselves to extend an apology for any Christians you may have encountered during your time in the business who have come up against you in an ungodly manner. Occassionally, strong emotions will tend to propel some to display their thoughts and feelings in a way that is contrary to God's heart. The only thing that should be motivating any of us is God's love for each individual life. Nothing else, especially one's profession, should have any bearing on how we treat one another.

And with that said,
we want you to know that our greatest hope and prayer is that you will not perceive any of us who minister to those in the adult entertainment industry as a threat to your livelihood; but rather, that we will all be able to work hand in hand for the spiritual and emotional benefit of those who
choose employment in this industry.
The entertainers in your establishment are more precious than gold….
value them as the treasure they truly are.

Sincerely,
Lisanne McMurray
